Consulting Application Deadlines 2027, Read October 2026

Three of the 20 Oliver Wyman 2027 postings carry a date. BCG runs four deadline regimes at once. Every consulting application deadlines 2027 line is dated.

In short
  • Three dated deadlines were readable on 7 October 2026: Oliver Wyman's Toronto and Raleigh data analytics internships at 11 October 2026 11:59 PM ET, and its Hong Kong summer internship at 8 November.
  • Of the 20 Oliver Wyman postings whose title names 2027, across nine countries, 3 carry a deadline, 2 carry only a Workday posting end date, and 15 carry neither.
  • BCG gives its US and Canadian offices 13 August 2026 and its international offices 11 September 2026 for the same full-time MBA consultant role, 29 days apart.
  • BCG's own campus page runs four regimes at once: a published date, applications open year-round in Australia and New Zealand, a recruiting team to email in Mexico, and 131 school pages in France and the UK.
  • Bain's Consulting Kickstart page carried a 5 October 2026 cutoff on 30 September and carried no date seven days later. A dated table is perishable by construction.
  • The McKinsey cell is empty. All four access recourses failed on 7 October 2026, and we say which ones rather than claiming the firm publishes nothing.

Three dated cutoffs for the 2027 cycle were readable on 7 October 2026. Oliver Wyman closes its Toronto and Raleigh data analytics internships on 11 October 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, and its Hong Kong summer internship on 8 November. BCG's 2027 undergraduate window is already shut. Every line below carries the date we read it.

Consulting application deadlines 2027, dated line by line

Each row records what the owner of the information published, in its own words, and the day we read it. The pages behind it are BCG's US MBA page, BCG's US associate page, BCG's global campus page, the Oliver Wyman postings reached through the firm's careers portal, and Bain's Consulting Kickstart page. Firms are grouped, and nothing here ranks them.

Firm Role and region What the page says Read on
Oliver Wyman Summer Analyst 2027, Data and Analytics, Toronto "Application Deadline: October 11th, 2026 11:59 PM ET" 7 Oct 2026

BCG Undergraduate full-time, Mexico "please contact our recruiting team" 7 Oct 2026
Bain Consulting Kickstart, 2027 program 2026 closed, "Check back later next year" 7 Oct 2026
McKinsey Campus deadlines, all offices empty cell, page unreadable that day 7 Oct 2026

Two rows deserve a warning before you plan anything around them. The BCG MBA dates were still displayed on 7 October 2026, and both had passed, so the page you reach today may be describing the cycle that just ended. And the Hong Kong cutoff is written without a year, which is why we checked the posting's own end date before trusting it. The arithmetic matters in both cases. Our application tracker exists because dates like these arrive in three different formats.

Reading about a consulting firm is not preparing for a consulting firm.

Take the readiness check

Where the date lives when the careers page has none

The owner of a deadline is the firm, and the page that carries it is usually the job posting rather than the careers section. Oliver Wyman makes the point better than any argument could. Its public careers page links a portal that renders no posting at all without JavaScript, and its dates sit inside the postings behind it. The Toronto cutoff, for one, is readable only in the posting's own record.

We read every Oliver Wyman posting whose title names 2027. There were 20, spread across nine countries: Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong, Spain, Canada and South Africa. They split three ways.

  1. Three postings carry a dated deadline in their text. Toronto and Raleigh at 11 October 2026, Hong Kong at 8 November. That is 3 of 20, or 15 percent.
  2. Two more carry only a posting end date, held in the record rather than written in the description. Both are Copenhagen roles, both set to 30 November 2026.
  3. Fifteen carry neither. Among them sit the Chicago full-time consultant and analyst roles for 2027 and the London entry-level consultant posting, which are the two closest to what most readers of this query want.

So the honest answer to a full-time deadline question at this firm, on 7 October 2026, is that the posting does not give one. That is a finding rather than a gap in our reading, and the postings are linked in the source register below.

Four deadline regimes inside one firm

A single calendar per firm is the assumption this whole topic rests on, and BCG's own campus page breaks it on one screen. Reading it on 7 October 2026, we counted eight named regions, 131 linked school pages, and zero dates written in month-day-year form anywhere on the page itself. The regions run four different regimes at the same time.

Regime Where BCG applies it What the page says
A published date United States and Canada, MBA roles "August 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM Local Time"
No date at all Australia and New Zealand "Graduate recruitment applications are open year-round."
A date on request Mexico, undergraduate and MBA "For information about deadlines ... please contact our recruiting team."
A date per school France, United Kingdom "Learn more about school-specific events and deadlines in France using the drop-down below."

McKinsey states the same variability about itself in plainer terms. Its campus deadline page, read on 30 September 2026 in an archived capture, says that some offices such as the US typically run one campus window a year, that others such as Germany offer several, and that for some roles there are no deadlines at all. Two firms, four regimes, and one instruction that follows from both: find the date for the office you want, because the firm-level date does not exist. Our page on recruiting timelines that slip covers what to do when the window you were waiting for moves.

A deadline that moved off the page in seven days

On 30 September 2026 we read Bain's Consulting Kickstart page and recorded its wording: applications were open, and submissions were due Monday, October 5th at 11:59pm PST. On 7 October 2026 the same URL said something else entirely. "Applications for our 2026 program are now closed. Check back later next year for more information on our 2027 Consulting Kickstart program."

Seven days, one URL, and the date is gone. Nothing was corrected and nothing was wrong. The window simply closed on 5 October, and the page updated to reflect it. This is the strongest reason to distrust any undated deadline table, including a well-researched one, and the reason every row above is stamped.

The same firm shows why a summary page cannot be the source. Its internships and programs page names 31 programs across the Americas, Europe and Africa, the Middle East, and Asia and Australia. Not one of them is given a date or a window state on that page. The page written for students carries no calendar either. Both facts were checked 7 October 2026. The date, when it exists, is on the individual program page, which is where the firm maintains it and where a reader has to go.

Are you ready to get an offer at a consulting firm?

What firms publish instead of an application deadline

Several firms publish intervals rather than dates, and an interval survives the cycle that a date does not. These are worth more than they look, because each one is a block of time you can schedule.

BCG publishes two of them on its US associate page. A candidate has 48 hours to complete the candidate case assessment once it is triggered. And a selected group receives the online case roughly two weeks after the application deadline, which converts a closing date into a second date you can anticipate. Oliver Wyman publishes a third on its Hong Kong posting: CV review begins after the deadline, with interviews scheduled across the following month.

Three further rules change how you should use a deadline, and all three come from the firms themselves.

  1. BCG reviews on a rolling basis on the MBA route, and encourages applying once office preferences are settled. The firm does not say that filing date weighs on the decision, and we do not claim it does.
  2. A double application is judged on the later date. BCG writes that an application to both a US and an international office is reviewed with the 11 September deadline.
  3. One application per office inside Asia-Pacific, in Oliver Wyman's wording, with duplicates discouraged. A region can constrain how many of these deadlines you are allowed to use.

Dates of this kind are the ones to copy into a prep timeline, since they are the only part of the calendar that does not expire with the window.

The cells we left empty, and why

An empty cell is the point of this page rather than an embarrassment, so here is each one with the method behind it.

McKinsey. We tried four access routes on 7 October 2026 and none returned the page. A browser-agent request failed at the HTTP/2 layer, and forcing HTTP/1.1 produced an empty reply from the server. The text proxy that usually gets past Cloudflare returned a challenge page. The Internet Archive was offline that day, its own site saying so and its availability API answering 429. Two attempts through our fetching tool timed out at 60 seconds. The firm's Avature portal answers, then sends job search back to the host that refuses us. So we do not write that McKinsey publishes no deadline. We write that we could not read its page on that date, and the structural quote we do use is dated 30 September 2026 from an 11 July 2026 capture.

Oliver Wyman full-time roles. The Chicago and London postings publish no deadline. That cell is empty because the firm left it empty, which is a different statement from the one above.

BCG per-school dates. The firm points to 131 school pages for French and UK dates. The three we opened serve no date in their HTML, because their event calendars are rendered client-side. That is our reading failing, and we do not convert it into a claim about the firm.

Firms that refused us entirely. Kearney, Alvarez and Marsal, and PwC's UK site all answered 403 to our user agent. We assert nothing about their deadlines in either direction. OC and C, Roland Berger, L.E.K., AlixPartners, Simon-Kucher and Arthur D. Little served pages with no occurrence of the word deadline, and their postings live on portals we did not open one by one.

How to check a consulting application deadline yourself

This is the part that still works after this page ages. Five steps, in order, and the order is what saves time.

  1. Name the owner before searching. For a deadline that owner is the firm, and within the firm it is the page for the exact role, region and program. A summary page is the wrong document, as Bain's 31-program list shows.
  2. Open the posting itself. Search the firm's job board for the role with the cycle year in its title. Oliver Wyman's dated cutoffs appear nowhere else, and its careers section is the wrong document for this question.
  3. Read the sentence that carries the date. Take the hour and the time zone with it. "11:59 PM ET" and "11:59pm Hong Kong time" are not interchangeable, and a local-time deadline means the office's local time.
  4. Check the year when the posting omits it. The Hong Kong posting says "Sunday, 8 November" with no year. Weekday and posting end date together settle it, and 8 November 2026 is indeed a Sunday.
  5. Write the reading date next to the date you found. Then re-read the page in the week before you apply. Bain's page changed inside seven days, and that is the normal speed of this information.

If the page says a window has passed, the firm is usually saying nothing about the next one. BCG's closed notice offers other open roles. Bain's offers a season or a mailing list. None of them promises a date.

What this page cannot keep current

Every row above expires. That is a property of the subject rather than a flaw in the research, and it decides how the page should be used: as a worked example of where these dates live and how to read them, with today's values attached. The next cycle will move them, and our reading dates will tell you how stale each line has become.

Three things we deliberately do not do here. We do not average the dates into a typical consulting calendar, because the firms publish four regimes and one of them has no date by design. We do not fill a missing cell with a comparable firm's date. And we do not explain why a given firm chose a given week, because no firm publishes that reason.

Once a date is fixed, the work becomes the interview rather than the calendar. That is where our drills sit. Our method page sets out the four dimensions we score a case answer on, and the weight on Coverage 45 is the one most candidates lose points against, because an answer that stops early reads as a thin structure. The tool scores at volume what this page can only describe once. It does not tell you when to apply, and nothing in it replaces reading the firm's own posting.

Before you go: where do you actually stand?

A short diagnostic: a few questions about where you are, one real case, and a score on the dimensions firms publish. Free, no card.

Edits the firm and case guides on this site. Reads each claim about a recruiting process back to the firm's own page before it is published, keeps the source ledger dated, and owns the corrections.

How this guide was made

  • Written against a published editorial process, not from memory. Every claim about a firm's process is either linked to that firm's own page or absent. We say what we could not verify rather than filling the gap.
  • Each page carries a dated source ledger, below. When a firm changes a programme or a deadline, the date tells you how far to trust what you just read.

We look for first-hand candidate accounts for every firm guide. Where we found none we could source, the page says so and carries the firm's own words instead. Nothing here is dressed up as testimony, and if your own experience contradicts what you read, tell us and we will correct it and date the change.
