What is being shared, and with whom

Two advertising and analytics tags run on this site, each in your browser and also server to server: the Meta Pixel with its Conversions API, and Google Analytics 4 with the Measurement Protocol. A TikTok pixel ran here until 1 October 2026 and has been removed. They receive which pages you viewed, when, technical details about your browser, and an identifier we store in your browser under the key pc_cid so that a visit and a later purchase can be matched.

What is never shared

Your practice answers, the scores and feedback derived from them, and your account credentials are never sent to an advertising network, and never will be. The sharing described here is about visits and purchases, not about your work.

How to opt out

Write to us through the contact form with the subject "Do not sell or share". Include the email address on your account if you have one. We will suppress advertising sharing for that account and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

We handle these requests manually today. That is honest rather than ideal: California expects a mechanism that executes on its own, and an automated switch is a change we have not yet shipped. Until it is, a request through the form is the route that works, and we treat it with the deadlines the law sets.

What you can do without us

These work immediately and do not depend on us processing anything:

• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or through an extension. It is the standard opt-out signal, and we are working toward honouring it automatically.
• Block third-party tags with a content blocker. The tags described above simply will not load.
• Clear this site's browser storage. That removes the pc_cid identifier, though a new one is created on your next visit unless you also block the tags.
• Use the advertising controls Meta and Google each publish in your account settings with them, which govern what they do with data they already hold.

What opting out does not do

It does not log you out, reduce what you have paid for, or change anything about the service. It does not delete data already received by Meta, Google or, before its removal, TikTok, which is governed by their own retention schedules and controls. And it does not stop the transactional email about your account and purchases, which is not advertising.

Someone acting for you

An authorised agent may make this request on your behalf. We will ask for proof that you authorised them, which usually means a signed permission or a confirmation from the email address on the account.

No penalty for asking

We will not charge you a different price, give you a worse service or treat you differently because you opted out. If you think we have, tell us and we will fix it.
